IDMCap is a non-profit organization, designed to promote the study of Capital Market Law in Brazil, through organizing events, promoting courses, disseminating academic works, coordinating legal works, and other initiatives.

The institute also aims to contribute to the development of legislation and regulation of the Brazilian Capital Market, as well as its interpretation, by participating in public hearings, drafting bills and other regulations, acting as amicus curiae in legal proceedings, etc.

In other words, our mission is to facilitate understanding and contribute to the improvement of the legal regime of the structures and agents that operate in the market, including publicly-held companies, investment funds, securities brokers and distributors, stock exchanges, investment advisors, independent auditors, among others.
